Role Purpose
The Business Development Consultant is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new reinsurance opportunities across facultative and treaty segments. The role focuses on building strong relationships with cedents, insurers, brokers, and reinsurance markets while supporting the firm’s growth strategy across targeted countries and lines of business.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development & Opportunity Sourcing

Identify new business opportunities in both treaty and facultative reinsurance.

Source leads for Property, Engineering, Marine, Energy, Casualty, Aviation, Agriculture, Life & Health, and Specialty lines.

Develop country-level pipeline strategies aligned with market trends and capacity appetite.

Conduct market mapping for cedents, regulators, and players in target regions.

Generate qualified leads and support pitch preparation for new programs.
Brand Building & Representation

Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking engagements.

Support development of marketing materials, capability documents, and presentations.

Promote the firm’s international reinsurance partners and capacities.
Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Reinsurance Broking Business Development Consultant.
-
The consultant will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and providing exceptional customer service in a dynamic environment.

Day-to-day tasks include facilitating brokerage activities, developing strategic sales approaches, and ensuring that all client needs within the reinsurance domain are met effectively.
Qualifications

Experience in Brokerage and Sales, particularly in the reinsurance or financial services sector

Strong Customer Service skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting deadlines and targets

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or a related field is preferred
Requirements

Hands on Experience as Reinsurance Broker in Turkiye, EU & CIS.

Hands on relationship with Prospects, Clients, Insurers, Reinsurers, Brokers in Turkiye, EU & CIS.

Advanced Insurance Qualifications are preferred.
Compensation
Monthly Fix Fees up to USD 5,000
