The Reliability Coordinator is to act as OMS tag in the maintenance department and to start-up RCA’s concerning technical performance in terms of reliability and maintainability of the assets. The role will support Maintenance Planner and Maintenance Engineer in developing an annual maintenance plan and executes this plan by liaising with all internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will report to Lubricants Maintenance Manager and locate in Gemlik, Turkey. Key Accountabilities Review plant functional process safety and define the gaps, take necessary actions together with team to close the gaps Lead or participate in root cause analyses (RCA) in order to tackle the root cause of issues and offer a sustainable solution. Consider ETPs (Engineering Technical Practice) in all maintenance works and OMS (Operating Management System) standards Develop related risk assessment such as what if, LOPA, FMEA, HAZOP, etc. for existing and new assets. Work with the Operation and CI teams to ensure asset utilization and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) Review operation processes and establish improvement areas and leads or participates in CI projects for design and execution phases. Support Maintenance Engineer to improve total productive maintenance (TPM) Ensure adherence to the Life Cycle Asset Management (LCAM) process. Create and keep updated long term asset maintenance and replacement plan. Reliability Coordinator will be a member of Plant Capex committee and provide input to CAPEX plan. Support the team to develop the most effective working methods. (determining required hours, drawing up operating sequences, drawing up work instructions). Support preventive maintenance, inspection and calibration programs meeting business requirements (availability and reliability, HSSE legislation and regulations, Asset Integrity and Total Cost of Ownership). Follow up and register periodical maintenance, exemptions, excursitions of safety critical equipments (SCE). Key user Engineering Asset Management tool (EAM-Ultimo) Assessment of deficiencies in spare-part management, determine (critical) spare parts plan and item catalogue gatekeeping Purchase activities at the absence of Maintenance Planner in compliance with company ethical values, policies and procedures and fulfilling within the framework of HSSE practices and rules. Control the materials incoming and leaving for the Engineering Department and keeping the relevant records at the absence of Maintenance Planner. Manage Capex projects which were assigned to him by Engineering Manager or Maintenance Manager. Accountable to fulfill WWC(working with contractors) process for maintenance contractors. Perform maintenance contractor evaluations/audits to understand whether they will comply with bp/Castrol expectations in performing safe & reliable operations. Coordinate and reviewing contracts with suppliers and evaluate contractors to improve their service/goods continuity, improve SLA quality. Control KPIs to ensure the continuous improvement of maintenance activities and review long term availability killers & set actions. Grant work permits related to the maintenance group in accordance with RAT, when required necessary risk assessments to be conducted. Have comprehensive knowledge of COW policy(control of work) and taking active role as area authority, performing authority, lifting coordinator, ground disturbance coordinator, etc. Accountable from soft/hardcopy technical documents such as maintenance manuals, records, training records, back-ups, etc. Responsible for reviewing maintenance procedures and instructions then updating them accordingly. He shall support Maintenance Manager to create new procedures and HITRAs for maintenance activities. Prepare method statements for work permits and initial risk assessment. Training of technicians and ensures that implementing safely maintenance activities according to related HITRAs or work permits. Key challenges of the role Reaching records for existing old equipment. Setting up and managing our systems according to BP-Castrol Quality requirements. Always work in accordance with all internal/external standards regarding safety and the environment. Prioritisation of activities is a challenge due to the intensity of work. The requirement to be on site on some weekends due to maintenance activities to be performed on weekends. Managing stress when malfunctions arise due to the need to find a quick solution. Managing relationship with contractors during difficult and stressful occasions. Managing relationship with stakeholders with regard to legal licences with state officials and local institutions. Managing relationship with technicians during difficult and stressful occasions. Planning (nature and impact), scope of impact (Team, BU, Segment, BP globally) Authorized for the communications and follow-up of works within its field of responsibility regarding HSSE issues. Co-ordinates some investment works according to the budget means and human resources. Improve suppliers’ capacities and diversity. Substitutes Maintenance Planner during his absence. In this role, we have the following requirements: Essential knowledge and experience Min. 5 years relevant working experience in maintenance. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering disciplines; Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Chemical, Industrial, Mechatronics. Good interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills Excellent self-motivation, organizational and prioritization skills Working with flexible working hours especially weekend overtimes Desirable criteria Similar roles in career. Oil/gas industry experience is preferred. Supply Chain experience. Report Engineering works to Maintenance Manager. Be accountable to the project leader for the participated projects.
