Remodeling Crew Member

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Crew Member to join our construction team. The ideal candidate would likely migrate to a leadership role where you would have a small crew and lead projects. You should have a strong background in various construction tasks and be comfortable working on-site. This role involves collaborating with other team members to complete projects efficiently while ensuring high-quality standards are met. The Crew Member will be responsible for a range of duties, from basic construction tasks to specialized skills depending on the project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
• Must have a strong knowledge of most phases in remodeling such as light framing, flooring, and finish carpentry.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to execute tasks accurately.
• Engage in restoration, remodeling tasks to meet project specifications.
• Collaborate with team members on tasks such as flooring installation, tile laying, and cabinet installation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency on the job site.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction or related fields is required.
• Familiarity with construction management practices and estimating processes is advantageous.
• Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding of construction site operations.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools safely.
• Experience with various construction techniques including flooring installation, trim, hanging doors, cabinet installation, and other types of finish carpentry as well as interior framing are necessary.
• Knowledge of other fields such as drywall and texture and painting are optional but preferred.
• Knowing how other fields such as electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work is good, but you're not likely to perform that work.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated to complete individual tasks.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
