Remodeling Design Coordinator

Job Summary
Join our growing team as a Remodeling Design Coordinator, where your creativity and attention to detail will help transform client spaces into stunning, functional environments.

Set your own schedule! This role is part time and designed with flexible, primarily remote, work hours and will allow the successful candidate to execute the weekly job responsibilities, while easily attending to family and personal life priorities.

In this role, you will support the design process by collaborating with clients, assisting with project planning, and ensuring that every detail aligns with their vision. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop design and customer service skills. There is additional opportunity for this role to develop into a full time salaried position in the future.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior designers and clients to develop creative remodeling concepts that reflect their style and needs
• Assist clients in selecting materials and finishes, using digital and physical samples
• Support the project team by organizing, documenting and communicating clients final specifications
• Communicate effectively with vendors, contractors, and clients to ensure customer design intent is translated into the project final result.
• Maintain organized records of design plans, client preferences, and project documentation for easy reference
• Stay informed about current trends in interior design and remodeling materials to bring fresh ideas to each project

Required Skills

• Attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to organize and document the significant number of model numbers, colors, preferences and other details common to all remodeling projects.
• Ability to continuously review, organize and derive actions needed from project schedules, material lead times and customers decision making process.
• Ability to plan and self manage weekly actions and activities to provide customers with a seamless, enjoyable experience and achieve business goals.
• Much of the work of this role occurs within our cloud based, customer management software. Proficiency and speed at using computer and software systems and the ability to quickly learn new modules and systems is a must.

Experience

• Previous experience in remodeling or interior design disciplines is not required. Training and development will be provided.
• A passion for creating beautiful and functional residential spaces is essential
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen carefully and understand customers needs and desires.
• Strong organizational skills to manage the details of multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $20,000.00 - $25,000.00 per year
