Remote Accounting Support Manager (QuickBooks Expert | US-Based Operations)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly capable and driven Remote Country Based Accounting Support Manager with strong expertise in QuickBooks to take ownership of our U.S.-based financial operations.

This is a critical leadership role focused not only on accounting accuracy, but also on cash flow management and collections performance. A major part of this position is ensuring invoices are issued promptly, receivables are actively followed up, and outstanding balances are collected efficiently.

The ideal candidate is confident and professional when communicating with clients and must have exceptional English speaking and writing skills, as you will be interacting directly with U.S.-based customers regarding billing, collections, and financial matters.

This is not just a bookkeeping role—we are looking for someone who can take ownership, identify issues, implement solutions, and help build structure within the accounting function. You will play a key role in improving processes, increasing collection speed, and supporting overall business performance.

  • Lead, build and supervise an accounting support team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to best practices in QuickBooks management
  • Oversee daily bookkeeping activities, including transaction recording, reconciliations, and financial data entry within QuickBooks. (
  • Manage multiple client accounts, providing tailored solutions and maintaining strong relationships through effective communication and negotiation
  • Coordinate project timelines, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of accounting deliverables
  • Conduct analysis of financial data to identify discrepancies, trends, or areas for process improvement
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members on accounting procedures, QuickBooks features, and customer service excellence
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, enhance reporting accuracy, and support sales initiativesSkills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in accounting and financial operations, with a strong understanding of accounts receivable, billing, and collections processes

Preferred (Not Required, but Valuable)

  • Experience in service-based industries such as restoration, construction, or field services
  • Familiarity with job costing and project-based accounting
  • Experience supporting or managing a remote team
  • Background in customer service or client-facing roles, especially in billing or collections

  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks (Online preferred) and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office tools
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) — must be confident speaking with U.S.-based clients regarding billing and collections
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment
  • High attention to detail with the ability to review, analyze, and reconcile financial data accurately
  • Proven ability to work independently and take ownership, not just follow tasks
  • Experience working with U.S.-based companies or clients is highly preferred
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing solutions
  • Experience creating or improving processes, workflows, and reporting systems

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $1,200.00 - $2,000.00 per month
