Overview

We are looking for an EXPERIENCED, flexible, top-notch Administrative Assistant. This is a 1099 independent contractor home based remote position, with a starting pay of $18.00 per hour. Applicants should reside in the Eastern or Central time zones when our Corp office and executives are also working. We are a distribution company based out of Charlotte NC, delivering consumables to convenience stores in 4 Mid-Atlantic states for over 30 years now!

Position offers growth and advancement opportunities. This is NOT an entry level position. If you are qualified, we would love to hear from you! Skills will be tested and experience will be verified. The Admin Assistant position will start part-time, as new skills and responsibilities are learned/demonstrated you will progress to full-time asap. The sooner the better if you are a quick learner!

Office Requirements:

In-home PC required with Office 365 and high-speed internet. Must have current MS office suite of products including Teams, must have a cell phone.

  • High school diploma required; Advanced degree preferred.
  • Submit to a National Background check.

· Advanced Proficiency in Office 365 and Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced Excel Skills required and will be tested prior to a job offer.

. At least 3 years of Hands on Accounts Payable experience required

· Advanced organizational skills with Outlook and comfortable with heavy email traffic.

· Proficient with Microsoft Teams – For meetings, trainings, and cross organizational communication.

  • 3–5 years of proven experience as an AdminAssistant.
  • Exceptional organizational talents, time-management, and record-keeping skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a sense of urgency and a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to multitask, adapt to interruptions, and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated discretion, integrity, and ability to handle confidential information professionally.
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work outside regular hours on occasion and we offer reciprocal options.

Advanced Position Requirements:

  • MUST have at least 2 years accounting related experience to include: AP, invoicing, bank account and credit card reconsiliation, Journal entries and end of month/quarter/year reporting, AR and collections, financial analysis and more.
  • 2 Years Fleet Management Experience highly desireable
  • Must provide comprehensive administrative and communication support across the organization, working effectively with staff, leadership, boards, customers, and external partners.
  • Understand that the Admin Assistant wears many hats!
  • Maintain office operations, virtual records management and filing systems, while handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Listed duties and requirements are NOT all inclusive, perform additional related tasks as assigned.

Experience:

  • Advanced Office : 3 years (Preferred)
