Remote Answering Service Dispatcher – Afternoons EST

Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time
Location: Remote (Work From Home)

Available Shifts

We are hiring 3 operators for the following shifts:

Afternoon / Evening Shift

• Between 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (EST)
• 7 days per week availability
• Full-time or part-time

Applicants must be able to work consistent, scheduled shifts.

Pay

• $13.50 per hour during training
• $14.00 per hour after training
• Paid weekly (cash)

Job Description

We are a family-owned professional answering service seeking reliable and experienced answering service dispatchers/operators. This is a remote, work-from-home position handling inbound calls, message taking, and dispatching on-call personnel.

Prior answering service or dispatch experience is strongly preferred, but not required for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls professionally and courteously
• Follow detailed, client-specific scripts and instructions
• Dispatch on-call personnel when required
• Accurately document and relay messages
• Identify emergency vs. non-emergency calls
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism

Requirements

• Prior answering service, dispatch, or call center experience preferred
• Strong, reliable high-speed internet connection (required)
• Good computer skills and comfort using multiple systems at once
• Ability to type accurately and navigate software efficiently
• Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
• Quiet, private work-from-home environment
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Comfortable working independently

Experience with TeleScan or similar answering service systems is a plus.
