ABOUT THE ROLE
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you'll be the financial backbone for multiple dental practice clients. This is a client-facing position where your communication skills matter just as much as your technical abilities. You'll work directly with practice owners who value your expertise and guidance—not just your data entry.

This fully remote position requires a disciplined self-starter who can work independently and be productive outside a traditional office environment. You must be available during core business hours for client and team collaboration.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform complete monthly bookkeeping for a portfolio of dental clients
• Download, categorize, and post bank and credit card transactions in QuickBooks Online
• Reconcile all bank and credit card accounts with precision
• Process client bill payments using Bill.com and QBO Bill Pay
• Prepare and post monthly adjusting journal entries
• Process payroll using platforms such as Gusto, ADP, or Paychex
• Prepare and file city and state B&O tax returns
• Prepare annual Form 1099s, Personal Property Affidavits, and Unclaimed Property Reports
• Generate accurate monthly financial reports and statements
• Respond promptly to client questions about their accounting, payroll, and financial reports
• Collaborate with team members on shared client projects
• Meet all recurring deadlines—no exceptions, no excuses

WHAT YOU BRING

Required:

• Minimum 3 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience
• Proven proficiency with QuickBooks Online (non-negotiable)
• Experience managing multiple business clients in a public accounting environment
• Strong command of Microsoft Office 365
• Demonstrated remote work experience with reliable high-speed internet
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• Self-starter mentality with a professional, positive attitude
• Takes a no-excuses approach to making things happen and takes responsibility for own actions and results

Preferred:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Previous experience working with dental practices
• Familiarity with Gusto, Hubdoc, and Bill.com
• Experience with Double (formerly Keeper) and Canopy

LOCATION & WORK AUTHORIZATION

This position is fully remote and open to qualified candidates located anywhere in the United States.

Requirements:

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
• High-speed internet and a dedicated home workspace required
• Availability during core business hours required for client and team collaboration (This is a fully time salaried position). Please no part-time or "side hustle" applicants.
