Oak Path Counseling Services is a growing Massachusetts-based outpatient mental health group practice serving children (4+), adolescents, adults, couples, and families. We are a trauma-informed, collaborative, and clinician-centered practice committed to ethical care, strong documentation standards, and sustainable professional growth.

As we continue to strengthen our clinical infrastructure, we are seeking an experienced LICSW Clinical Supervisor & Internship Coordinator to support early-career clinicians and graduate interns.

Position Overview

This remote role combines:

• Direct clinical supervision (fee-for-service)
• Group supervision (as needed)
• Structured internship coordination
• Quality oversight and documentation review

The position is ideal for an experienced supervisor who values mentorship, accountability, and building strong clinical foundations within a growing group practice.

Structure & Compensation (Hybrid Model)Fee-for-Service Supervision

Paid per supervision hour conducted:

• $75 per individual supervision hour
• $90 per group supervision hour

(Estimated 8–18 supervision hours per week depending on clinician volume)

Monthly Internship & Administrative Stipend

• $400–$600 per month, depending on intern volume

Covers:

• University liaison communication
• Intern onboarding coordination
• Midterm and final evaluations
• Documentation spot-check review
• Limited risk consultation outside scheduled supervisionTotal expected weekly commitment: 10–20 hours, flexible based on supervisee count.

This hybrid structure ensures compensation scales with clinical volume while maintaining predictable coverage for coordination responsibilities.

Primary Responsibilities

Clinical Supervision

• Provide weekly individual supervision to LICSW candidates
• Facilitate group supervision as appropriate
• Ensure supervisees meet MA Board of Registration standards
• Support case conceptualization, ethical decision-making, and risk assessment
• Review documentation for quality and compliance
• Provide feedback aligned with best practices in outpatient care

Internship Coordination

• Oversee up to 3 graduate-level interns
• Serve as liaison to graduate programs
• Coordinate intern onboarding and training expectations
• Complete midterm and final evaluations
• Monitor intern documentation standards and professional development

Quality & Collaboration

• Provide consultation to leadership regarding clinical concerns
• Support documentation and compliance standards
• Participate in limited leadership check-ins as needed

Qualifications

Required:

• Active Massachusetts LICSW in good standing
• Minimum 3 years post-licensure experience
• Eligible to provide LICSW supervision per MA Board requirements
• Experience supervising pre-licensed clinicians or graduate interns
• Strong knowledge of Massachusetts documentation and ethical standards

Preferred:

• Experience facilitating group supervision
• Background in trauma-informed practice
• Experience within insurance-based outpatient settings
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Independent Contractor Structure

This role is structured as a 1099 independent contractor position. The supervisor maintains professional autonomy in clinical judgment and scheduling while collaborating with practice leadership to ensure quality and compliance standards.

Estimated Annual Compensation Range

Depending on supervision volume:

• 10 hours/week average → approximately $40,000–$48,000 annually
• 15 hours/week average → approximately $58,000–$65,000 annually
• 20 hours/week average → approximately $72,000–$80,000 annually

(Combination of supervision hours + monthly stipend)

Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour
