Remote CPA / Enrolled Agent – Tax Resolution Specialist (Fully Remote)

We’re looking for an experienced CPA or Enrolled Agent to join our growing remote team. In this role, you’ll help individuals and businesses navigate complex tax situations, resolve IRS issues, and regain financial stability. Must be able to follow the tasks in a timely manner, bring solutions, complete filings in a timely manner.

What You’ll Do

• Guide clients through tax challenges and provide clear, strategic solutions
• Communicate directly with the IRS to obtain transcripts, investigate accounts, and resolve issues
• Negotiate on behalf of clients for payment plans, settlements, and levy releases
• Prepare and submit resolution cases including Offer in Compromise, CNC, Installment Agreements, lien resolutions, and audit reconsiderations
• Review financial documents and recommend the most effective resolution strategy
• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Represent clients in audits, appeals, and collections with professionalism and confidence
• Provide insight on tax planning, estate considerations, and financial optimization
• Assist with bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance using tools like QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms

What We’re Looking For

• Active CPA or Enrolled Agent license
• Strong background in tax resolution, public accounting, or corporate finance
• Experience handling IRS collections and negotiations
• Solid understanding of financial reporting, GAAP principles, and account analysis
• Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems
• Ability to manage multiple client cases efficiently in a remote environment
• Strong communication and analytical skills

Bonus Experience (Not Required)

• Knowledge of estate planning, trusts, and asset protection strategies
• Experience with SOX compliance or corporate regulatory reporting
• Background in M&A, non-profit accounting, or advanced financial consulting

Pay: $28,650.00 - $56,500.00 per year
