Remote Junior PHP Developer

Job description:

We’re looking for a motivated and passionate Junior PHP Developer to join our growing development team. If you have at least 1 year of full-time experience, a solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and are eager to work with technologies like Laravel and WordPress, this opportunity is for you!

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and modern frameworks like Laravel
• Customize and build WordPress themes and plugins
• Create and integrate RESTful APIs
• Work on frontend components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Collaborate with designers and developers to deliver high-quality results on time
• Maintain code quality using Git/GitHub and proper documentation

Required Skills

Frontend:

• HTML / CSS / JavaScript / jQuery

Backend:

• PHP
• Laravel
• WordPress (Theme and Plugin Development)
• RESTful API Development & Integration

Version Control:

• Git / GitHub

Other Must-Haves:

• Solid understanding of OOP principles
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills
• Team collaboration and communication abilities
• Ability to manage tasks independently in a remote setting

Basic Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of full-time PHP development experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Must be based in Lahore (Remote work allowed)
• Self-driven and eager to learn and grow

Bonus Skills (Preferred, Not Mandatory)

• Experience with Vue.js or React.js
• Familiarity with Shopify or Bubble.io
• Knowledge of tools like Mailchimp, Google Analytics, or other marketing integrations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
