Job Summary
We are seeking a Fresher or experienced and highly motivated Business Development Specialist to drive our growth by securing new projects and long-term clients through Upwork, Fiverr, LinkedIn, and email marketing. The ideal candidate is a master of crafting compelling proposals, building client relationships, and understands the nuances of winning high-value projects in a competitive online marketplace.
This is a unique opportunity for a results-oriented professional who is confident in their ability to generate business. The role offers the stability of a base salary along with the significant earning potential of a percentage-based commission on every project successfully secured.
Key Responsibilities
1. Freelance Platform Management (Upwork & Fiverr):
- Create, manage, and optimize our agency profiles on Upwork and Fiverr to enhance visibility and credibility.
- Proactively search for high-quality projects and leads that align with our service offerings.
- Write tailored, persuasive, and technically sound proposals and bids that stand out from the competition.
- Engage with potential clients, conduct discovery calls to understand their requirements, and effectively communicate our value proposition.
- Negotiate project terms, pricing, and timelines to close deals successfully.
- Maintain an excellent Job Success Score (JSS), 5-star ratings, and positive client feedback.
2. Direct Digital Outreach:
- Develop and execute targeted lead generation strategies using LinkedIn, focusing on identifying key decision-makers in our target industries.
- Craft personalized connection requests and outreach messages to initiate meaningful conversations.
- Design and implement effective email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and convert prospects.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, tracking all communications and follow-ups.
3. Strategy & Collaboration:
- Develop and refine bidding strategies to maximize our conversion rate and return on investment.
- Stay ahead of trends, algorithm changes, and best practices on freelance platforms and in digital marketing.
- Collaborate closely with our technical and creative teams to understand project scope, estimate costs, and create accurate proposals.
- Provide regular reports to management on key performance indicators (KPIs), including bids sent, response rates, projects won, and revenue generated.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proven Experience: Demonstrable track record of successfully winning projects on Upwork and/or Fiverr is a must.
- Portfolio of Success: A strong portfolio showcasing successfully acquired projects, client testimonials, and a history of high earnings on these platforms.
- Exceptional Communication: Flawless written and spoken English with exceptional persuasive writing and proposal-crafting abilities.
- Outreach Expertise: Hands-on experience with LinkedIn lead generation (e.g., using Sales Navigator) and professional email marketing.
- Sales Acumen: Strong negotiation, closing, and client relationship management skills.
- Self-Driven Attitude: A proactive, results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership of the sales pipeline.
- Technical Understanding: A solid understanding of the [Your Industry, e.g., web development, digital marketing] landscape to communicate intelligently with clients.
