We are looking for a Repair Officer, responsible for managing the complete repair lifecycle of aircraft components and tools, to ensure timely, cost-effective, and airworthiness-compliant return to service. The role focuses on optimizing repair turnaround time, controlling costs, supporting loan and exchange requests, coordinating with vendors, meeting and maintaining data accuracy within approved MRO systems.


Key Accountabilities

  • Initiate, track, and close repair orders within the MRO system.
  • Review and validate repair quotations based on cost, turnaround time (TAT), and technical justification.
  • Monitor repair cycle performance to meet contractual and operational targets.
  • Communicate with approved repair vendors to expedite repairs and resolve technical or commercial issues.
  • Support procurement in vendor assessment, performance evaluation, and contract compliance.
  • Coordinate with engineering and material teams to align repair priorities with operational needs.
  • Track and report repair costs, turnaround times, and vendor performance KPIs.
  • Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities through vendor optimization.
  • Maintain data integrity for all repair transactions and certifications.
  • Ensure all repaired components are accompanied by valid airworthiness certificates.
  • Maintain traceability of component history and repair documentation.
  • Manage, track, and support aircraft component and tools loan/exchange requests, ensuring timely availability, accurate documentation, and effective coordination with internal teams, vendors, and partner airlines.


Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Aviation Management, or Supply Chain Management.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in component repair management within an airline, MRO, or OEM environment.
  • Knowledge of ATA chapters, repair processes, and vendor management principles.
  • Experience with CMRO, proficiency in Excel and Power BI for analysis and reporting.
