Report Developer - Banking

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Report Developer with strong expertise in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and SQL development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the banking domain, strong analytical capabilities, and a proven track record of delivering accurate, reliable, and high-performance reporting solutions that support business operations and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and generate analytical, operational, and management reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for reporting and data extraction requirements.
• Utilize SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL and data integration processes.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve SQL and reporting-related issues in development, testing, and production environments.
• Implement and manage data archiving and retention strategies to optimize database and reporting performance.
• Validate report data accuracy and ensure consistency across reporting systems.
• Collaborate with business users, QA teams, and technical stakeholders to deliver reporting and data solutions within project timelines.
• Prepare and maintain report documentation, deployment procedures, and technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with banking data governance, security, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Continuously monitor, analyze, and improve reporting processes to enhance performance and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in report development and SQL-based reporting solutions.
• Strong expertise in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Strong knowledge of SQL Query Optimization and Performance Tuning.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Demonstrated experience in report development and data analysis.
• Prior experience working within the banking or financial services industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including stored procedures, views, and database objects.
• Solid understanding of ETL processes, data integration, and database performance optimization.
• Knowledge of data archiving and retention strategies.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Results-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy, quality, and performance.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge and experience of Temenos Core Banking will be considered a strong advantage.
• Knowledge and experience of Temenos Data Hub (TDH) will be considered a strong advantage.
