The Center of Cyber World Insight (CCWI) invites applications for the position of Reporter Trainee for its flagship publication, CyberWatch — Pakistan’s Pioneer and No.1 E-Paper on the Cyber World.

This program is designed for individuals interested in journalism, digital media, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and public policy. Successful trainees who demonstrate strong performance will be considered for full-time employment at CyberWatch or other CCWI publications.

Position Details

Position: Reporter Trainee
Duration: Six Months

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants from the following academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply: - Mass Communication or Media Studies - International Relations - Political Science - Public Policy or Governance - Computer Science or Cybersecurity (optional but beneficial)

Applicants with interest in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, digital rights, cyber law, emerging technologies, or digital governance will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

· Monitor cyber-related developments and daily digital trends

· Research, write, and edit news reports and feature articles

· Assist the editorial team in preparing weekly and thematic editions

· Conduct fact-checking, interviews, and follow-up reporting

· Contribute to content on cybercrime awareness and digital safety

· Work in accordance with CCWI editorial standards and deadlines
