About this Position
The position is part of the Global Business Solution in Cairo (GBS+ Cairo), in the Market Data Solutions Process specifically handling the operation of Reporting & Advanced Data Analyst.
What You´ll Do

Execute market, client, and customer reporting, and perform data analysis across key business areas such as market share, brand performance, sales effectiveness, promotions, and pricing.

Perform data extraction, processing, and transformation to support reporting and analytics solutions using Excel, VBA, Power Query, KNIME, and Python, sourcing data from multiple systems while ensuring accuracy, quality, and consistency.

Design and build data models following best-practice methodologies (e.g., Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).

Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Excel and Power BI, integrating existing and new data sources to deliver clear, actionable insights to stakeholders.

Support data preprocessing, analysis, and validation activities to ensure reliable outputs.

Participate in projects related to system enhancements, reporting automation, and process improvement initiatives.

Proactively share knowledge within the team and contribute to continuous improvement of analytics practices.

Support the team in building, optimizing, and troubleshooting Power BI reports and dashboards, including handling large and complex datasets
What makes you a good fit

Bachelor’s degree in Business Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

2–4 years of relevant experience in data analysis, business analysis, or reporting roles.

Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (advanced functions, Power Query, VBA) and PowerPoint.

Strong expertise in Power BI, including DAX and data modeling.

Solid foundation in databases and data concepts.

Preferred experience or knowledge of SQL, Python, KNIME, and/or Alteryx.

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights.
