Reporting Analyst – Power BI & Vertica

We are looking for a Reporting Analyst with strong SQL expertise to design, develop, and maintain operational and management reports using data from our Warehouse Management System (WMS – LFS) . The role will focus on building high-quality Power BI dashboards , writing optimized SQL queries, and supporting data-driven decision-making across logistics and warehouse operations.

As a Data Analyst , you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to solve complex problems and provide actionable insights using Data Lake and Power BI. You will use various charts/graphs and visualization techniquests to present business KPIs using Power BI. Ability to Present your insights in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders is important. Ensuring data accuracy and reliability, resolving inconsistencies, and collaborating with teams to improve data processes are crucial. Exposure to WMS / logistics systems will be a strong advantage.

Work Experience: Proven experience (5+Yeras) as a Data Analyst/BI Developer, or similar role, preferably in a large-scale organization or within the logistics industry.

Technical Skills Required To Perform The Role

• 4-7 years of experience in data visualization using Power BI.
• Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and Power Automate.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Familiarity with data modeling and visualization best practices.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience to design Dashboard to be compatible with Mobile Devices
• Expertise in extracting the data from REST APIs to Power BI Visualization Tool
• Strong knowledge in understanding of Database Concepts and Ability to write SQL Queries
• Able to Develop Data Models to identify potential opportunities and risks using the data sets
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing trends or patterns and reports.
• Strong hands-on experience in SQL (complex joins, subqueries, CTEs, performance tuning).
• Experience in Python is an added advantage
