Guiding Project Success: As a lead, you’ll provide essential support for CMU Service packages related to Gas Turbine Packaging. This involves managing project-specific bills of materials, drawings, and customer documents.

Customizing Solutions: You’ll adapt existing standard CADD drawings to meet customer-specific requirements, ensuring precision and alignment with project goals.

Engineering Excellence: Execute project design, analysis, and evaluation using sound engineering principles. Your work will adhere to industry standards, practices, and program requirements.

Collaboration Catalyst: Act as the primary interface between engineering and other teams (manufacturing, sourcing, project management, etc.). Your role is crucial in resolving technical issues and ensuring seamless communication.

Change Facilitator: Coordinate changes to project requirements, bridging gaps between Sales, Project Management, Sourcing, and Production teams. Your agility will drive efficiency.

Cost-Effective Solutions: Strive for cost-effective solutions, optimizing inventory usage while maintaining quality and performance.

Project Support Champion: Provide technical support during project execution, especially during the OTR (Order-to-Remittance) handoff phase.

Field Engineering Partner: Support field engineering during installation and warranty phases, ensuring successful implementation.

Thorough Documentation: Document technical data meticulously, aligning with engineering policies and procedures.

Effective Communication: Timely communication on significant issues or developments is essential for project success.

Thought Leadership: Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews, contributing your expertise.

Comprehensive Records: Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for assigned projects, maintaining consistency with engineering policies.
Work Experience
Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related from an accredited college or university

Minimum 4 years to 6 years of progressively responsible post-bachelor’s degree Solid engineering background. Familiarity with gas turbines and accessories as well as knowledge about Controls logic, DCS/PLC, Network and Cyber Security.

Excellent communication skills in English
Desired Characteristics:

Proven experience working in multi-functional engineering teams focused on basic design definition and/or detailed engineering activities for Gas/Steam turbine power plants or similar type project execution efforts.

Knowledge & working experience on Auxiliary systems / Accessories.

Ability to balance multiple priorities.

Strong interpersonal skills

Able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers
Being familiar with lean management is an advantage
