Research Analyst ( Retail Insight )

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop research methodologies tailored to retail-focused projects, including consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive analysis.
  • Provide guidance on qualitative and quantitative research techniques, ensuring appropriate method selection for retail insights and business objectives.
  • Assist teams in planning, executing, and evaluating retail research projects with a strong emphasis on methodological accuracy.
  • Conduct in-depth literature reviews and market scans to identify emerging retail trends, shopper insights, and best research practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, merchandising) to align research methodologies with retail business goals.
  • Analyze and interpret retail data (sales trends, customer preferences, market performance) using statistical and analytical tools.
  • Develop and present clear, actionable research reports, highlighting insights, methodology, and strategic recommendations for retail growth.
  • Monitor and stay updated on evolving retail research techniques, consumer analytics tools, and industry innovations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Research,Business,Communication, Social Sciences, Statistics or Psychology
  • Should have experience of 6 month-1 year
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing research methodologies for both qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to think critically and analytically.
  • Knowledge of ethical research standards and procedures.
  • Familiarity with advanced data visualisation and interpretation.
