This position offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to scientific advancements in the field of petroleum reservoir engineering. Key Responsibilities
-
Conduct experimental and theoretical studies on fines migration in porous media, including its impact on permeability, formation damage, and oil recovery.
-
Develop models and simulations to predict fines behavior under various reservoir conditions.
-
Design and execute laboratory experiments to investigate fines mobilization, deposition, and control mechanisms.
-
Analyze data and interpret findings to generate high-quality research outputs.
-
Publish research findings in high-impact journals and present at international conferences.
Minimum Qualification
Education:
-
MSc in Petroleum Engineering, or a closely related field. Technical Expertise:
-
Strong background in fines migration, formation damage, or reservoir engineering.
-
Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment (e.g., core flooding apparatus, particle analyzers).
-
Proficiency in reservoir simulation software and computational modeling tools. Research Skills:
-
Proven track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals.
-
Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python).
Preferred Qualification
-
