Research Assistant in the Division of Science (Computer Science) - Yasir Zaki

The Communication Networks Lab in the Computer Science Program of the Division of Sciences at New York University Abu Dhabi seeks to appoint a research assistant. Applicants with backgrounds in computer networks, web, internet measurements, satellite, AI and machine learning, or related fields are encouraged to apply. A successful applicant would be working on various projects related to the use of AI and ML in the web, social media, and LLMs. More details about the kinds of related projects can be found at https://yasirzaki.net/ .

Applicants must have received a B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related area within the last three years. The position requires significant research experience in web scraping, data analysis, machine learning, LLMs, etc. Excellent academic credentials, a good publication record, and a strong background in machine learning are mandatory requirements. Excellent communication skills in English, the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, and scientific creativity are essential. The candidate is expected to have strong programming skills in C/C++, Python, and Android, as well as excellent proficiency in working in a Linux environment.
