Position:

Research Assistant

Overview:

Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who shall play a crucial role in supporting ongoing research projects aimed at utilization of industrial by products and development of specialized new products for use in building construction.

Qualification:

 BE/ B Tech Civil.

 BSc (Chemistry).

 Diploma in Civil Engineering.

Work experience:

 Minimum 2 years of experience.

 Experience in related field will be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

 Assist in the operation, and maintenance of laboratory equipment and instruments related to civil engineering research.

 Conduct experiments under the supervision of seniors, ensuring adherence to established protocols and safety procedures.

 Collect, record, and organize data obtained from experiments using various data acquisition systems and software.

 Contribute to the literature review and stay updated on current research trends in relevant areas.

 Perform routine tests on materials required for building construction.

 Assist in the preparation of research reports, technical documents, and presentations summarizing experimental findings and results.

 Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment, including ordering and stocking necessary supplies and materials.

 Stays informed about the latest developments in civil engineering research and contribute ideas for new research directions and projects.

 Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all laboratory personnel.

Desired Skills:

 Strong understanding of fundamental engineering principles.

 Experience with laboratory testing procedures in civil engineering testing is preferred.

 Well-versed with MS Excel, MS Word & MS Powerpoint.

 Familiarity with data analysis software such as MATLAB will be an added advantage

 Technical writing skills are essential

 Excellent organizational and time management skills.

 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate research findings and ideas.

 Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, methodologies, and research techniques as required.

Pay: ₹17,789.58 - ₹30,355.33 per month
