Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Research Associate 1 will be responsible to function somewhat independently while assisting with and conducting laboratory experiments on research projects within well-defined guidelines, keeps abreast of current publications relative to methods, techniques, and developments within the area of research; collects, prepares, and analyzes specimens (or animal subjects), evaluates results of (or response to) process; summarizes data, and may provide supervision and guidance to junior level technicians.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor's

Required Field of Study: Biomedical, Animal Science, or related field

Number of years required to perform the job: RA1- entry level; no exp required

Type of experience required to perform the job: Working in research lab with animals
