Pay Range: USD $50,210.00 - USD $85,360.00 /Yr. Overview:
The individual selected for this position will be responsible for conducting and maintaining research projects in laboratories and greenhouses for faculty in the Department of Horticulture.
This is a one year limited term position and is funded from external sources. Continuation of employment is contingent upon availability of funds.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Data collection, management, and analysis

Operation of research instrumentation

Supervision of graduate and undergraduate students

Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor.
The selected individual will be expected to regularly communicate with research faculty and will be expected to be part of research planning and implementation.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in content specific area of research and 4 years of Experience in research practices and protocols
SUBSTITUTIONS ALLOWED FOR EXPERIENCE: Yes, When a candidate has the required education, but lacks the required experience, they may normally apply additional appropriate education toward the experience requirement, at a rate of one (1) year relevant education per year of required experience.

- Possesses advanced knowledge in the field of research, and has very broad knowledge of equipment, materials and processes related to lab/facility operations, including complex procedures for observation, documentation and collection, analysis and present
