Research & Development Chemist (5-10 yrs. Exp. in Perfumes & Cosmetics Industry)

We are looking for an experienced R&D Chemist with real time expertise in the ‘Perfumes and Cosmetics’ industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new formulations, improving existing products, ensuring quality standards, and supporting innovation projects aligned with market trends.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and formulate new products in perfumes, cosmetics, and personal care categories.

· Improve existing formulations to enhance performance, stability, and cost efficiency.

· Conduct stability tests, compatibility tests, and performance evaluations.

· Work closely with production teams to scale formulations from lab to factory level.

· Research global market trends, raw materials, and new technologies.

· Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

· Maintain accurate documentation, formulation records, and test reports.

· Evaluate new raw materials and coordinate with suppliers.

· Troubleshoot technical issues related to formulation or production.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

· Strong knowledge of ingredients, fragrance chemistry, stability studies, and regulatory compliance.

· Experience with testing procedures, and product evaluation.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
