Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Researcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a student or recent graduate with strong writing, analytical, and research skills—someone who lives and breathes current affairs, understands the political landscape, and can translate complex information into clear, engaging reports.

You’ll work closely with Senior Researchers to document findings, contribute to reports, and publish articles online under the Insaf Research banner.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research on political, social, and current affairs topics in Pakistan and globally.
• Collaborate with Senior Researchers on ongoing research projects and reports.
• Gather, verify, and document credible information from multiple sources.
• Write summaries, briefs, and articles based on collected data.
• Assist in preparing content for online publication (articles, infographics, and policy briefs).
• Stay up to date with news trends, government policies, and political movements.
• Maintain organized documentation of references, sources, and drafts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (completed or ongoing) in Political Science, International Relations, Journalism, or related field.
• Strong interest in politics, governance, and public policy.
• Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills in English.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with senior team members.
• Familiarity with online research tools, Google Scholar, and credible data sources.
• Prior experience in academic writing, blogging, or journalism is a plus (but not required).

• Monthly stipend/salary of PKR 60,000 – 70,000 based on experience.
