Reservations Agent - voco Cario Arabella Plaza

At voco™ Cairo Arabella Plaza, the very first voco in Egypt, we believe in creating a welcoming atmosphere where our guests feel cared for and our colleagues are empowered to deliver memorable experiences.

We are looking for a Reservations Agent who will be responsible for handling guest inquiries, managing reservations efficiently, and delivering personalized service to ensure a seamless booking experience in line with IHG standards.

A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different at IHG, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Handling reservation requests via phone, email, and online platforms in a professional and timely manner.
  • Providing accurate information about room types, availability, rates, packages, and hotel facilities.
  • Maximizing revenue by upselling rooms, packages, and additional services.
  • Maintaining accurate guest profiles and updating reservation details in the system.
  • Coordinating with Front Office, Sales, and Revenue teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Responding promptly to guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints with a service-oriented approach.
  • Monitoring reservation trends and reporting discrepancies or opportunities to the Department Head.
  • Ensuring compliance with IHG reservation policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Promoting IHG Rewards Club and encouraging guest enrollments.

What we need from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years’ experience in Reservations or Front Office within a 4/5-star hotel.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Opera PMS or similar hotel reservation systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure with strong attention to detail.
  • A passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.
  • Must speak fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
