Residential and Commercial Inspector Needed

Local, successful inspection company is looking for a professional, friendly, goal oriented individual to inspect residential and commercial properties around the Dayton and Miami Valley areas. Our inspections vary per client/job. Experience is highly preferred as we are a very busy business and need immediate help. That individual will learn with online and hands-on experience with inspectors with over 40 years combined experience.

Our ideal candidate must:

• Have excellent customer service skills. There is a LOT of client and agent interaction during inspections as well as for trade shows and events
• Be punctual, reliable and professional
• Be able to pass a background check
• Have own PC/Mac, cell phone and internet and very proficient with most common software and computer functions (Half of the job is computer work and communications. We will provide some software and training.)
• Have passed or have the capability to pass a national inspector license test and/or are a currently licensed inspector
• Have reliable, presentable transportation and tools (Some tools will be provided as needed)
• Be knowledgeable of basic building/construction methods or materials/functions (We can train you!)

There will be initial on-the-job training in addition to internet training (InterNachi) and continued education throughout your career. Schedule and work load fluctuate due to real estate market. Opportunities for advancement.

The right candidate will start training immediately. With previous training/licensing, you can start even sooner.
