Responsibilities

• Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and ventilation equipment in residential properties following schematics and HVAC design plans.
• Conduct system inspections to ensure proper operation, safety compliance, and optimal performance during installation and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC components using tools such as ohmmeters, welding equipment, and refrigeration gauges; perform equipment repair as needed.
• Collaborate with property owners to explain system features, maintenance requirements, and answer questions about operation or repairs.
• Perform plumbing connections related to HVAC systems and assist with appliance repair or property maintenance tasks when necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations, repairs, and service calls; adhere to safety protocols at all times.
• Operate a <PERSON> driver vehicle safely to transport tools, equipment, or parts between job sites.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction or service technician roles with a focus on HVAC installation or maintenance.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in schematics, HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems, plumbing, and ammonia refrigeration is highly desirable.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately; experience with HVAC design principles is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with equipment repair including boilers, appliances, welding techniques, and property maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters; ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> driver vehicles preferred.
• Additional skills such as welding, boiler operation, or mechanic experience are advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
