Responsibilities

• Install new residential HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and ventilation equipment according to schematics and design specifications
• Perform system troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure optimal operation of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) equipment
• Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings to accurately install and service systems
• Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC units and related appliances to prevent future issues and extend equipment lifespan
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair or modify components as needed
• Assist with plumbing connections for HVAC systems, ensuring proper flow and safety standards are met
• Maintain detailed service records, installation logs, and safety documentation in compliance with company policies

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in construction, appliance repair, property maintenance, and field service operations
• Proven service technician experience working with HVAC systems, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), boilers, or similar mechanical equipment
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals confidently; familiarity with HVAC design principles is a plus
• Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting
• Experience with welding, equipment repair, plumbing connections, and general maintenance tasks
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> drivers or similar vehicles preferred
• Knowledge of HVAC/R standards including refrigerant handling and safety protocols

Pay: $37,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
