Residential Nurse - Labor Camp

Job Responsibilities – Residential Nurse (Labour Camp), Qatar

• Provide 24/7 primary healthcare support to camp residents, including routine treatment, first aid, and emergency response.
• Conduct daily sick calls, assess medical conditions, and determine referral needs to clinics or hospitals.
• Maintain accurate medical records, treatment logs, and follow-up reports as per company and regulatory standards.
• Monitor chronic health cases and ensure proper medication management.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar Labour, Public Health, and HSE standards, including hygiene and infection control.
• Coordinate with external medical facilities, ambulance services, and company HSE teams for escalated cases.
• Perform regular health and hygiene inspections of accommodation, dining areas, and common spaces; highlight risks and recommend action.
• Support vaccination drives, periodic medical screenings, and worker wellness initiatives.
• Conduct health education sessions on hygiene, heat stress prevention, and wellbeing.
• Manage inventory of medicines, equipment, and first-aid supplies, ensuring proper storage and expiry tracking.
• Prepare periodic health, incident, and camp wellness reports for management.
• Work closely with Camp Boss, HSE, and HR teams on medical cases, fitness-to-work assessments, and leave recommendations.
• Respond promptly to accidents, injuries, or emergencies within the camp or worksite.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professional conduct in handling medical information.

Qualification Requirements

• Valid QHCP (Qatar Health Care Practitioner) License

OR
Passed Prometric Exam with Dataflow Verification in progress/completed.

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Minimum 2–3 years of nursing experience; previous camp/industrial experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of first aid, emergency care, and occupational health basics.
• Good communication and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work in a multicultural labour camp environment and handle emergency situations independently.

Pay: QAR6,000.00 - QAR6,500.00 per month
