Residential Remodeling Finish Carpenter

Purpose of Position:

The residential remodeling finish carpenter will perform all trim carpentry at extremely high level of detail with a helper and independently. To be self sufficient and ease work duty of team members, and management staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Arrive at jobsites at 8 am
• Tool and material acquisition when necessary before jobsite arrival
• Install cabinetry and trim carpentry per plan
• Problem solve project limitations, prior trades, and future trades to ensure plan changes are well communicated and well transitioned
• Manage support staff in the installation process
• Communicate with project limitations and daily tasks with sub-contractors, homeowners, project manager, and interior designer
• Ensure jobsite cleanliness
• Document with photos and end of day reports on work completed and needs for the next day of work

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Framing per plan
• Assist other trades when necessary
• Material delivery
• Equipment maintenance
• Weekly and monthly team meetings

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience in high-end luxury cabinetry and trim installation
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation interim probationary period for take home vehicle
• Smart phone with ability to use company required apps

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
