Required Skills/Experience:

• Must have at least 2 years experience in NICU, pediatric critical care, and pediatrics along with ED
• Level IV NICU Experience, Experience with High frequency jet ventilator and Oscillating Ventilator pediatric cardiac anomalies
• Medication Administration, Albuterol, Atrovent, Bicarbonate, Flovent, Inhaled Flolan, Inhaled steroids, Lidocaine, Mucomyst, Nitric Oxide (INo), Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Tobramycin, Xopenex, Ventilator Management, BiPAP, CPAP, High frequency jet ventilator, High frequency oscillator, Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation, Work Settings, Emergency Department, NICU, Pediatric Critical Care, Pediatrics, Airway Management Devices/Suctioning, Extubation, Intubation Assist, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oral/nasal Suctioning, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy care/management, Care of Patient With, ARDS, Bronchoscopy, ECMO, Medication Delivery Systems, Aerosol set up mask, Aerosol set up trach, Medihaler, Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI), Nebulizer, Cold, Hand held, Heated, Ultrasonic, T-piece, Trach collar, Oxygen therapy, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Protocol Driven ECMO, Neonatal/Pediatrics - Equipment/procedures, Assist in high risk delivery, CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BIPAP, ECMO, Oscillating Ventilator, Umbilical blood gases, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)

Shift & Scheduling:

• 4/21 starts preferred, 5/4 starts considered
• Weekend REQ: Yes, 6 weekend shifts per schedule. The schedule is published in 6 week blocks.
