Required Skills/Experience: Solid understanding of all aspects of Respiratory care.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Respiratory therapy equipment testing, respiratory therapy equipment cleaning, respiratory therapy equipment maintenance, care plan management, ventilator patient assessment, blood gas analysis, arterial blood gas analysis, venous blood gas analysis, capillary blood gas analysis, sleep therapy documentation, respiratory therapy equipment preparation, stocking respiratory care supplies.

Required Credentials: Associate’s degree - Respiratory Therapy

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Shifts: Every other weekend or 3 weekends in a 6‑week schedule. Holiday Shifts: 6 Carle recognized holidays with rotations.

Floating Requirements: Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.
