Respiratory Therapist MH American Fork Hourly

The Respiratory Therapist works under the direction of the Respiratory Director to assist the healthcare team in the diagnosis, treatment and care of patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders affecting the heart and lungs. The Respiratory Therapist performs cardiopulmonary technology duties, provides advanced life support for patients, administers inhaled drugs and medical gasses, performs various tests to measure cardiopulmonary functions and assesses for sleep disordered breathing, provide education and guidance to patients regarding cardiopulmonary health and provide other treatments and responsibilities within the scope of the licensure of a Respiratory Therapist.

> Active Utah Respiratory Therapist License

> Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)

> Active Fingerprint Clearance Card, Level 1

> Active Class-Instructed CPR Certification

> Background Screening, Licensure Verification (if applicable), Reference Check, Drug Testing

> Tuberculosis Testing

> Employee Health Screening (Conducted after Hire)

> Ability to Move, Lift and Transfer a minimum of 50 Pounds

> Must be able to Speak, Read, Write and Understand English
