Respite Provider (Per Diem / As-Needed)

Job Overview

RISE Family Support Services is seeking compassionate and dependable Respite Providers to support children and families in their homes. This is a per diem, as-needed position with flexible scheduling based on referrals.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with youth and families and are looking for meaningful, flexible work.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home respite care for children and youth
• Supervise and engage youth in safe, structured activities
• Support with daily routines and basic needs
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Maintain a safe and positive environment
• Communicate effectively with families and the team

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• Experience working with children, youth, or families preferred
• Background in human services, education, childcare, or healthcare is a plus
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass background clearance
• Must be dependable, patient, and compassionate
