Restaurant Captain for Fine & Dine Restaurant in Gachibowli Hyderabad.

Jd:

To oversee the smooth functioning of the restaurant operations by supervising Captains, Stewards, and service staff, ensuring high-quality guest service, maintaining standards, and supporting the Restaurant Manager in day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Guest Service & Experience • Greet and interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by handling queries, complaints, and feedback efficiently.
  • Monitor table service, order taking, and timely food & beverage delivery.

2. Team Supervision & Training

  • Supervise Captains, Stewards, and support staff during shifts.
  • Allocate duties, monitor performance, and provide guidance on service standards.
  • Train new team members on service etiquettes, menu knowledge, and SOPs.

3. Operational Excellence

  • Ensure restaurant is well-prepared for operations (mise-en-place, table setup, cleanliness).
  • Maintain coordination between kitchen and service team for smooth order flow.
  • Support the Restaurant Manager in managing daily operations.

4. Sales & Revenue Contribution

  • Promote upselling and suggestive selling techniques to maximize revenue.
  • Monitor guest preferences and recommend menu items accordingly.

5. Compliance & Standards

  • Ensure adherence to hygiene, grooming, and safety standards.
  • Maintain proper documentation for checklists, reports, and service logs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a restaurant or hotel, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of F&B service, restaurant operations, and guest handling.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible shifts.
  • Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or relevant field preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
