Job Criteria – Restaurant Cashier (Male/Female)Position Overview

The Restaurant Cashier is responsible for handling customer payments, managing the cash register, issuing receipts, and providing excellent customer service while ensuring accuracy in all transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with billing inquiries.
• Accurately process cash, credit card, and digital payments.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer balances at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Answer customer questions regarding menu items, prices, or promotions.
• Handle telephone orders and coordinate with the service team.
• Assist in daily sales reports and handover to management.
• Keep the cashier counter neat, organized, and presentable.
• Support front-of-house team when required.
• Follow company policies and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience as a cashier, preferably in a restaurant or retail environment.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Customer service-oriented with a friendly attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic or other languages is a plus).
• Basic computer skills (POS system experience preferred).

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Male or Female candidates (depending on staffing requirements).
• Professional appearance and grooming.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
