General Overview
Responsible for taking orders and serving food and beverages to guests, checking on customers to ensure customer satisfaction and quality of service.
Responsibilities
- Greeting customers when they enter and giving them menus when seated
- Taking orders from customers and coordinating it to the kitchen
- Serving customers their food and making sure they are happy with the food
- Taking delivery orders on the phone when necessary
- Selling wholefood products and providing information to customers on the benefits of these products
- Cleaning tables and general front of house area
- Cash handling - giving invoices and change to customers
- Implementing a high level of customer service at all times
- Actively upselling menu items and wholesale products
- Attending training sessions and workshops on vegan and raw food when necessary and have full knowledge of all menu dishes to be able to inform to customers
- Managing the Point of Sale (POS).
- Collecting payments by accepting cash, check, or charge payments from customers; making change for cash customers.
- Verifying credit acceptance
- Issuing receipts and refunds
- Redeeming and monitoring vouchers and loyalty card
- Balancing cash drawer by counting cash at the beginning and end work shift
- Balancing cash/credit sales against the POS report
- To represent the company ethos and vision at all times

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Waitress in fine dine in restaurant: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- QID (Preferred)
- Food Handling Certificate (Preferred)
- Qatar Chamber Training Certificate (Preferred)
