Restaurant Floor Supervisor

We are seeking a polished, organized, and hospitality-driven Dining Room Supervisor / Maître d’ to oversee front-of-house operations during service at a busy waterfront restaurant.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading a team, and takes pride in creating exceptional guest experiences. You will act as the point person on the floor—ensuring smooth service, supporting staff, and making every guest feel welcomed and taken care of.

Responsibilities:

• Manage reservations and coordinate seating flow throughout service
• Greet and engage with guests to ensure a positive dining experience
• Support servers and staff during busy shifts (running food, assisting tables when needed)
• Act as the main point of contact for guest concerns or special requests
• Maintain strong communication with kitchen and bar to ensure smooth operations
• Oversee the dining room atmosphere, cleanliness, and overall presentation
• Lead and support front-of-house team members during service
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including end-of-night floor checks

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant experience required (leadership experience preferred)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to stay calm and organized in a high-volume environment
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude
• Team-oriented with a willingness to jump in wherever needed
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
