We are looking for a Bonne Vie Host to welcome guest in warm and friendly manner, creating a positive and memorable experience. The Host is responsible for monitoring the restaurant for open sections and tables, estimating wait times, monitoring a guest wait list when needed, and insuring that the guests are comfortable while waiting for a table.

Reports to: Food and Beverage Manager

Essential Job Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Greeting and seating all guest visiting Plaza Bar, Afternoon Tea, and Westgate Room.
• Answer inquires about dining options at the Hotel including, hours, menu knowledge, general hotel information.
• Control seating pace and estimate wait times.
• Accept reservations for Afternoon Tea and Westgate Room.
• Perform call-back confirmations on reservations.
• Accept, prepare, and process payment for to-go orders.
• Asist in bussing and resetting tables in Westgate Room and Plaza Bar.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderly appearance of F&B Outlets and Hotel Lobby.
• Communicate guest needs efficiently with servers and bartenders.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications:

• prior customer service experience in the hospitality industry.
• good communication skills.
• positive attitude and interpersonal skills
• quick learner
• team player

Experience:

• Customer/guest service experience preferred.
• 1 year of restaurant experience preferred.
• Must be able to slide tables to accommodate large groups.
• Proficient conversation English language skills required
