Restaurant Host/Hostess

Job Summary:
Los Tarascos is seeking a professional and dependable Host/Hostess to join our team. This role is responsible for creating a positive first impression by greeting guests, managing reservations and waitlists, and maintaining an organized and efficient front-of-house environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests promptly and professionally upon arrival
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements
• Escort guests to tables and provide menus
• Communicate effectively with servers and management to ensure efficient table turnover
• Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries
• Provide accurate wait time estimates
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Reliable and punctual
• Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred, but not required

Schedule:

• Evening and weekend availability required
• Flexible scheduling available

Pay:

• $16 per hour (based on experience)
