Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly smile and positive attitude, making them feel comfortable and appreciated.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize table turnover.
• Answer phone inquiries professionally, providing accurate information about the restaurant’s offerings and wait times.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service and timely seating of guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times.
• Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and accommodate seating preferences whenever possible.
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to enhance overall satisfaction.

Skills

• Prior experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting is highly preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a genuine desire to create positive guest experiences.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, food service etiquette, and hospitality standards.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
