**Shifts:** Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays

About The Grove

The Grove is a beloved casual family dining spot at Cabin John Mall. From the moment guests walk in, we want them to feel welcome. As the first face they see, our host team sets the entire tone for the experience.

About the Role

Our Host/Hostess is the heartbeat of the front of house on our busiest days. You’ll greet guests, manage the waitlist, and coordinate seating to keep the floor running efficiently. We’re looking for someone who is consistently available on weekends, brings genuine warmth to every interaction, and stays calm and organized when it’s busy.

What We’re Looking For

- Reliable and available every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday — this is non-negotiable
- Friendly, approachable, and naturally makes guests feel welcome from the moment they walk in
- Organized and composed under pressure — you thrive when things are busy
- Clear communicator who works well with servers and management
- Prior hosting or customer-facing experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

- Warmly greet and seat all incoming guests
- Manage the waitlist and communicate accurate wait times
- Coordinate with servers and management on table availability and flow
- Answer the phone and take reservations or call-ahead seating requests
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand
- Assist with carry-out orders and guest questions as needed
