Restaurant Manager

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Restaurant Manager to lead our fine dining restaurant in Riyadh . The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring outstanding customer service, maintaining franchise standards, and driving business performance. This role requires a hands-on leader with excellent communication, operational, and team management skills, who thrives in a dynamic and multicultural environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Operations Management

  • Supervise daily operations across dining, kitchen, and delivery services.
  • Ensure consistent food quality and service in alignment with franchise guidelines.
  • Maintain full compliance with Saudi food safety , hygiene, and Baladiya regulations .
  • Manage stock levels, purchasing, and vendor relationships to control costs effectively.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team of restaurant staff.
  • Create schedules and assign responsibilities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide regular coaching and feedback.
  • Build a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and service excellence.

Customer Experience

  • Deliver a welcoming and family-friendly dining atmosphere.
  • Handle customer complaints and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee large group bookings, special events, and VIP service coordination.

Financial Oversight

  • Monitor budgets, sales targets, and operational costs.
  • Prepare and present regular financial and operational reports to management.
  • Manage POS systems, billing accuracy, and daily cash flow.

Marketing & Business Development

  • Coordinate local marketing campaigns, seasonal promotions, and loyalty programs.
  • Increase brand visibility through social media and local community engagement.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor activity to support business growth.

Compliance & Quality Control

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, health, and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of kitchen, storage, and dining areas.
  • Maintain franchise quality standards and support audit readiness.

Franchise Coordination

  • Act as the main liaison between the local branch and the franchisor.
  • Implement training programs, operational procedures, and brand policies as directed.
  • Represent and uphold the brand’s image and standards in the local market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in restaurant management , preferably within franchise or international concepts.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Understanding of Saudi hospitality regulations and Baladiya compliance .
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
