Restaurant Manager

At Rixos Tersane Istanbul , we deliver refined dining experiences defined by exceptional service standards, operational excellence, and a strong culture of hospitality.

We are currently seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations and elevate guest satisfaction in line with our luxury brand values.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant in line with property standards
  • Lead the service process and actively engage with guests to ensure comfort, satisfaction, and personalized service
  • Ensure all team members have strong food, beverage, wine, and service knowledge and confidently deliver this to guests
  • Oversee table setups, service stations, and overall restaurant presentation to meet luxury standards
  • Ensure all colleagues are fully trained in correct billing procedures and POS systems
  • Maintain restaurant equipment in excellent condition and ensure proper usage through staff training
  • Supervise staffing, duty rosters, performance, and daily task allocation
  • Monitor stock levels, coordinate with related departments, and ensure operational efficiency
  • Play a strategic role in achieving budget, revenue, and profitability targets
  • Support continuous improvement in menu development, product quality, and service trends
  • Work closely with F&B Operation Manager, Assistant F&B Director, F&B Director, and other operational teams
  • Ensure staff training levels meet operational and service requirements
  • Promote and embody the company philosophy, culture, and Legendary Quality Experiences to consistently exceed guest expectations


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience in a similar supervisory or managerial role, preferably within luxury hotels or international F&B chains
  • Degree or associate degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Hotel Management, or Food & Beverage (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is an advantage)
  • Strong command of English (spoken, written, and comprehension); additional languages are an asset
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Solid understanding of food & beverage operations, à la carte service, and luxury service standards
  • Strong wine and beverage knowledge
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a guest-focused mindset
  • Ability to work safely, efficiently, and with a high level of professionalism
