Job description

Summer Palace by Le Palais is the fine-dining Chinese restaurant of Chinese Palace Group. The restaurant delivers an exceptional culinary and cultural journey, combining world-class traditional Chinese cuisine with the richness of Chinese art, history, design, and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily restaurant operations to ensure seamless fine-dining service
  • Uphold the highest standards of hospitality, guest experience, and service etiquette
  • Train, mentor, and inspire the service team to deliver consistent excellence
  • Work closely with the culinary team to ensure flawless coordination between kitchen and service
  • Oversee reservations, guest relations, VIP handling, and complaint resolution
  • Maintain brand standards, SOPs, and fine-dining service protocols
  • Monitor budgets, costs, manpower, and operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and company policies

Requirements

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager in fine-dining or luxury hospitality
  • Strong background in fine-dining service standards
  • Experience in Chinese cuisine or luxury Asian dining is highly preferred
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and guest-handling skills
  • Strong eye for detail and passion for perfection
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a high-end environment
  • Fluent in English (Mandarin or other languages is an advantage)
  • UAE experience preferred
