Restaurant Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems
• Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables
• Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently with attention to detail
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and presentation
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines during food handling and preparation
• Address guest inquiries, complaints, or feedback promptly to ensure satisfaction
• Assist with hosting duties as needed, including welcoming guests and managing reservations through OpenTable

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
• Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar systems is a plus
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
• Culinary experience or knowledge of fine dining service is advantageous
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Pay: $16.90 - $17.50 per hour
