Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to optimize flow and comfort
• Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate tracking of guest details
• Provide attentive and friendly guest services, addressing questions and special requests promptly
• Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate timely service
• Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professional phone etiquette, providing information about menu items and wait times
• Support the serving team by delivering menus, water, and other essentials to enhance guest satisfaction
• Uphold cleanliness standards in the host/hostess station and dining area to ensure a welcoming environment

Skills

• Proven experience as a Host/Hostess or in food service roles within a restaurant setting
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred
• Previous hotel or guest services experience is a plus, demonstrating hospitality expertise
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining professionalism under pressure
• Knowledge of serving protocols, guest relations, and hospitality best practices
• Exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to foster positive guest interactions
