Duties

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and assist with food and beverage selections to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while providing genuine recommendations to guests
• Manage guest needs throughout their visit by checking in regularly, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring satisfaction
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to maintain smooth operations

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and billing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse customer needs professionally
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations to ensure a clean and safe environment
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and inventory management
• Previous experience in serving, bussing, host/hostess roles or hospitality positions preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting
